A Determination That Continues
Jessica Morris Put Patients at the Center
Jessica founded OurBrainBank because patients should help shape research and decisions about their care.
Her determination lives on in every patient and care partner who shares an experience and asks the next question.
1
Reach More People
Include experiences beyond major academic centers.
2
Understand Daily Life
Study changes that happen between appointments.
3
Build Better Evidence
Turn lived experience into research that can help families.
What DANO Explores
Four Dimensions of Daily Life With Glioblastoma
DANO focuses on four parts of life that traditional research can miss.
Social Isolation
How loneliness and connection change over time.
Social Support
How support systems shape well-being.
Mobility
How daily movement shifts between appointments.
Quality of Life
How patients and care partners experience daily life with GBM.
How the Research Fits Together
Two Studies. One Shared Goal.
OurBrainBank is a research collaborator with Mass General Brigham and Dana-Farber on the existing DANO-GBM study.
Our planned national community study would expand this research beyond academic centers. Ultimately, we hope to explore how findings compare across both studies.
Why We Need Your Help
THE NEED DID NOT DISAPPEAR
When the $200,000 grant route closed, OurBrainBank turned to the community.
Your gift helps us prepare and launch the national cohort, support participants, collect secure data, analyze findings, and share what we learn.
