News announced on Less Survivable Cancers Awareness Day, which takes place every year on 11^th January, ranked the UK 22nd out of 29 comparable countries for the survival of Brain Cancer.

Sadly it is now a fact that UK survival rates for six of the deadliest cancers which include Brain are falling far behind other high-income countries.

Questions are being asked as to why the UK is falling behind countries like the US and it has been suggested that a lack of access to innovative treatments and opportunities to join clinical trials for UK patients may explain this.

A number of UK charities are now calling on the UK government to close the deadly cancer gap for these less survivable cancers.
