Background and more information

OurBrainBank is a patient-led movement dedicated to moving GBM from terminal to treatable. OBB conducts patient and caregiver-led research and data collection to demand better care for GBM patients and their families.

In 2020, we launched the Glioblastoma Bill of Rights, championing the right to equal care for everyone affected by GBM, regardless of geography or financial situation. Read more. Our community feedback in 2022-23 found alarming results, urging us to expand our research. 

For our 2024 initiative, we’re collaborating with esteemed doctors from Duke, Columbia, and Dana-Farber, aiming to engage 500 patients and caregivers across the USA. Our Goal? To illuminate and address GBM care inequities.

We need the GBM patient and caregiver voice! 

We’re seeking people living with GBM, caregivers, or those who’ve lost a loved one within the past year. The survey takes just 10 minutes online, and at the end, there will be an opportunity to opt-in for a follow-up phone call to share more about the GBM journey.
